ePresenter is an online retailer and e-zine dedicated to high end presentation electronics.

Objective
ePresenter wanted a fast, user oriented site that allowed immediate purchasing access with minimal layers of navigation, but which also delivered up-sell content and detailed technical specs in an easy to use format. The site had to have rock solid security and stability for e-commerce, and allow protected remote access for ease of updating.

Solutions
Our solution incorporated a database driven home page that pulls related special offers with full active server pages that are generated "on the fly." The database also pulls any special promotions or bonus items that are linked to that specific product, and takes users directly to detail screens. Internal navigation offers ready access to articles and related content, but always keeps the user within 3 clicks of a final purchase screen. Oracle 10.3 pushes P/N, price, and weight to a SQL 7.0 dB. The SQL dB then serves ASP's on demand to create custom user pages. The purchasing is performed with Open Market 4.0 and exports files to Tandata for fulfillment and to Oracle financials to clear accounts receivable.
